Prime Minister Rowley Received Update from BP Executive Team

Prime Minister Dr the Honourable Keith Rowley and the Honourable Stuart Young, Minister in the Office of the Attorney General and Legal Affairs and Minister in the Office of the Prime Minister, met with members of the BP executive team led by Bernard Looney, BP Upstream Chief Executive Officer and including Andy Hopwood, BP Executive Vice-President, chief operating officer, strategy and regions, Upstream; Norman Christie, Regional President, BPTT and Giselle Thompson, Vice President Corporate Operations, BPTT this morning (June 1st 2017) at the Diplomatic Centre, La Fantasie St Ann’s.

Numerous matters were discussed with the agreement that the Government would continue communicating with BP for the further development of the energy sector of Trinidad and Tobago.

The BP executive team along with the Honourable Franklin Khan, Minister of Energy and Energy Affairs is expected to make their public announcement this afternoon at 2pm.
