Prime Minister Young Receives Courtesy Call from Chargé d’Affaires at the U.S. Embassy

Prime Minister the Hon. Stuart R. Young, SC received a courtesy call from Chargé d’Affaires at the U.S. Embassy in Trinidad and Tobago, Dr Jenifer Neidhart de Ortiz at Whitehall today (Tuesday 25th March, 2025).

This engagement comes ahead of Prime Minister Young’s travel to Jamaica tomorrow (Wednesday 26th March, 2025), where he will have a bilateral meeting with United States Secretary of State, Marco Rubio.

This morning’s talks centred on continuing to deepen the bilateral relationship between Trinidad and Tobago and the United States.

Minister of Foreign and CARICOM Affairs, Senator the Hon. Dr Amery Browne was also present at today’s meeting.

Dr Neidhart de Ortiz was accompanied by Deputy Chief of Mission Mr Charlie Franta and Political-Economic Chief, Mr Scott Hansen.
