Prime Minister Dr the Honourable Keith Rowley met with President of the UN

This morning Prime Minister Dr the Honourable Keith Rowley met with President of the United Nations María Fernanda Espinosa Garcés.

The Prime Minister is part of a CARICOM delegation led by Dr the Hon Timothy Harris, CARICOM Chairman and Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis. Today the delegation will participate in a series of meetings as Caribbean leaders continue to advocate that the region must remain a Zone of Peace.

To this end, the delegation met yesterday with the Permanent Representatives of Canada, the Russian Federation, the European Union and the African Union.
