Prime Minister Rowley and President of Ghana hold Bilateral Talks
Prime Minister Dr the Hon Keith Rowley met with His Excellency Nana Akufo-Addo, President of the Republic of Ghana today at the Diplomatic Centre, St Ann’s on Thursday 13th June, 2019.
His Excellency Akufo-Addo arrived at the Diplomatic Centre this afternoon for a private meeting with Prime Minister Rowley. Both men then led wider bilateral talks which was also attended by members of their respective Cabinets.
Discussions focussed on energy, health, finance, education, tourism, agriculture and culture. This visit advances the inroads made during Prime Minister Rowley’s visit to Ghana in May 2016. Trinidad and Tobago is one of the stops on Ghana’s regional tour which will include visits to Guyana, Barbados and St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
The Prime Minister and His Excellency also hosted a joint media conference.
