Prime Minister Rowley meets Chairman of Ghana Gas Company Limited

Prime Minister Dr the Hon. Keith Rowley received a courtesy call from the Hon. Kennedy Agyapong MP, Board Chairman of Ghana Gas Company Limited, at the Diplomatic Centre, St Ann’s today (Monday 03rd June, 2024).

Last month Dr Rowley met with His Excellency Nana Akufo-Addo, President of the Republic of Ghana, and a commitment was made to finalize the details of a gas deal involving the two countries.

Mr Agyapong’s visit comes on the heels of these discussions. While in Trinidad and Tobago, the Ghanaian Chairman will tour the Point Lisas Industrial Estate and engage in further discussions as both parties move towards the finalization of the deal.

Minister of Energy and Energy Industries and Minister in the Office of the Prime Minister, the Hon. Stuart Young and Honorary Consul of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago to the Republic of Ghana, Dr Hilton John Mitchell were also present at this morning’s meeting.
