National Youth Awards 2024
Prime Minister Dr the Honourable Keith Rowley attended the 28th edition of the National Youth Awards at the Hyatt Regency last evening (Thursday 19th September, 2024).
The event, “Unleashing Potential: Celebrating the Excellence of Trinidad and Tobago’s Youth,” was held under the distinguished patronage of the President of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, Her Excellency Christine Kangaloo ORTT.
The National Youth Awards aims to highlight the positive endeavours of that nation’s youth as empowered co-creators of Trinidad and Tobago’s sustainable development.
Awards were presented to nominees in 19 categories, including Agriculture, Entrepreneurship, Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) and Leadership and Advocacy for youth between the ages of 10 to 35.
Her Excellency, Christine Kangaloo ORTT delivered the feature address.
