Prime Minister Rowley’s remarks at the Besson Street Police Station Handover Ceremony
It is with great pleasure I accept this assignment this morning once again to open another modern facility for the accommodation and operations of the police service. About 2 or 3 weeks ago we opened a similar, possibly larger, facility in St Joseph for the St Joseph Police district and today we open this Besson Street Station and in the not too distant future we will have a similar function where we open the Maracas Police Station. And, as I mentioned, construction would begin some time in 2017 of the Carenage Police Station.
