Cabinet sub-committee led by Prime Minister, Dr the Honourable Keith Rowley met at the Diplomatic Centre, St Anns
After today’s (Thursday 9th August, 2018) Cabinet Meeting a Cabinet sub-committee led by Prime Minister, Dr the Honourable Keith Rowley met at the Diplomatic Centre, St Anns.
The Cabinet sub-committee includes the Minister of Finance, the Honourable Colm Imbert, Minister of Planning and Development, the Honourable Camille Robinson-Regis, Minister of Public Utilities, Senator the Honourable Robert Le Hunt, Minister of Tourism, the Honourable Randall Mitchell, Minister of National Security, the Honourable Stuart Young, Minister of Works and Transport, the Honourable Rohan Sinanan and Minister in the Ministry of Finance, Senator the Honourable Alyson West.
Caribbean Airlines (CAL) made a presentation to the Cabinet sub-committee on its recent financial results and operations. There was also discussion as to some of CAL’s future plans.
The committee noted that CAL has improved its operations and significantly reduced its losses over the last financial year.
Among those representing CAL were its Chairman Mr Shameer Mohammed, Deputy Chairman Mr Michael Quamina and the CEO Mr Garvin Medera.
