CARICOM Regional Cricket Conference Day One
“We do not intend to give up on cricket. We intend to defend cricket and we intend to play cricket at the highest level, and we will get back to the top.”
Prime Minister Dr the Hon. Keith Rowley and Chairman of the CARICOM Prime Ministerial Sub-Committee on Cricket made the statement during his address at the Opening Ceremony of the CARICOM Regional Cricket Conference held at the Hyatt Regency, Trinidad today (Thursday 25th April, 2024).
Prime Minister of the Republic of Barbados, the Hon. Mia Mottley and President of the Co-operative Republic of Guyana, His Excellency, Dr Mohamed Irfaan Ali (virtually) also delivered remarks at this morning’s opening session.
