Eid-ul-Fitr Celebrations

Prime Minister the Hon Stuart R. Young, SC hosted members of the Muslim community to a dinner in commemoration of Eid-ul-Fitr at the Diplomatic Centre today (Saturday 12th April, 2025).

Minister of Agriculture, Land and Fisheries, Senator the Hon. Kazim Hosein, chaired the evening’s proceedings, under the theme “Unity in Diversity”.

Delivering his feature address, Prime Minister Young asked the gathering to continue promoting national unity within Trinidad and Tobago.

He affirmed, “As the Prime Minister of Trinidad and Tobago, I will fight against injustice … I will not tolerate anyone who tries to spew and bring divisiveness and to bring division in our beautiful Trinidad and Tobago.”

Several Government Ministers, representatives from several Muslim organisations, including ASJA, TML and TIA, were among the invited guests at the celebration.
