MOU Signing Between Muslim Leaders and The Princes Town Regional Corporation
The Muslim Community now has the use of State lands for the purpose of a cemetery. Prime Minister Dr the Hon Keith Rowley was on hand yesterday for the signing of the MOU between Muslim leaders and the Princes Town Regional Corporation for the establishment of a Muslim Cemetery which will be located at Douglas Road, Barrackpore.
The event was held at the Subrattee Trace Masjid in Barrackpore yesterday (Wednesday 16th July, 2020).

•Mr Nizam Mohammed, Chairman of the Douglas Road Barrackpore Muslim Cemetery Committee
•Imam Fazar Allaham, Imam of Subrattee Trace Masjid and President of the Douglas Road Barrackpore Muslim Cemetery

•Mr Jumadeen Mohammed, Second Vice President of the Trinidad Muslim League (TML)
•Haji Rafeek Mohammed, President of the Tackveeyatul Islamic Association of T&T
•Maulana Atif Sulaimani, Imam of the San Fernando Jama Masjid
•Maulana Sheraz Ali, Imam of the Nur-e-Islam Jamaat
