National Day of Remembrance 2019
On Sunday 10th November 2019, Her Excellency Paula-Mae Weekes, President of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, Prime Minister Dr the Hon Keith Rowley and Mrs Sharon Rowley joined the Defence Force in commemorating Memorial Day 2019.
The wreath-laying ceremony, held at National Memorial Park in Port of Spain is meant to honour all who served and in memory of those who fell in World Wars I&II.
The event was attended by the Hon Chief Justice Ivor Archie, Minister of National Security and Minister in the Office of the Prime Minister, the Hon Stuart Young, various detachments of the Defence Force and protective services as well as Diplomats, Mayors and members of the public.
