Opening of The Diego Martin Administrative Complex

Residents of the Western peninsula of Trinidad now have access to a brand-new Diego Martin Administrative Complex, as Prime Minister Dr the Hon Keith Rowley officially opened the building located at Ken Valley Drive, Diego Martin yesterday (Saturday 10th June, 2023).

The new headquarters for the Diego Martin Regional Corporation was completed through a Public Private Partnership with First Citizens Bank. It aims to ensure important services offered are conveniently accessed.

As Diego Martin welcomes its new Borough status, Prime Minister Rowley said the complex signals the progress the country is making to improve Local Government and the lives of citizens. He asked residents to not only look at this building “as a symbol only but a functional response to your quest for improvement in the quality of your life.”

The Prime Minister was joined at the event by the Minister of Rural Development and Local Government, the Hon Faris Al-Rawi, Minister of Finance and Member of Parliament for Diego Martin North/East, the Hon. Colm Imbert, Minister in the Office of the Prime Minister – Communications and Member of Parliament for Diego Martin Central, the Hon. Symon de Nobriga, Minister of Agriculture, Land and Fisheries, Senator the Hon. Kazim Hosein and Chairman of the Diego Martin Regional Corporation, Mr Sigler Jack.
